2007 Ealton Nelson International Development Award
The Ealton Nelson Award recognizes an individual or group and a chapter's outstanding commitments to and achievements in IAWP's international development.
IAWP was fortunate when this exceptional leader was assigned to serve as First Attaché for the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. While I visited the eight embassies in Washington, not only did he demonstrate his professional excellence by accompanying me on all these visits, but he invited me into his home to spend time with him and his family. He has attended numerous IAWP Board of Directors meeting at his own expense. He actively participated in those meetings, and he has been a major contributor in the activities of IAWP.
I take personal pleasure and honor in presenting the 2007 Ealton Nelson Individual Award to my friend and colleague, Motohisa Anai of Japan.
