Below is information about the economic stimulus bills taken up by Congress in early 2009.

On 2/17/2009 the President Signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 into law.

On 2/13/09, Congress voted in the House (Yes 246 - No 183 - Present 1) and Senate (Yes 60 - No 38) to pass HR1 as amended by the Conference Committee Report.
