2007 Group Award of Merit
The Award of Merit recognizes outstanding service or achievement, beyond normal expectations or job requirements that benefit IAWP and the workforce development field. Individuals and groups are awarded under this award category.
The 2007 Group Award of Merit winners worked diligently to advertise, market and conduct a successful golf tournament with all proceeds being donated to Veterans Haven, a vocational/transitional housing program for homeless veterans. The group effort provided recognition of IAWP in several ways and brought about positive public relations and membership recruitment possibilities. On May 19, 2007, 60 golfers assembled at the course at McGuire Air Force Base and raised $3,735.43 for Veterans Haven. As IAWP continues to celebrate professional excellence, the 2007 Group Award of Merit is presented to the New Jersey Veterans Haven Charity Golf Outing Team.
