2007 Group Services to Veterans Award
The Services to Veterans Awards recognize those individuals and groups who have done the most to assist veterans and promote interest in their rights in the workplace. These awards recognize outstanding, innovative programs of awareness and furthering of veterans' interest and rights in the workforce.
The 2007 Group Services to Veterans Award goes to the largest career center within that. The Veterans Services team has worked to promote the hiring of all type of veterans by the community businesses. They have promoted their services by conducting a Veterans Job Fair in conjunction with two of the local Veterans Service Organizations. They have organized Veterans Stand Down events each year and used these as an example for other homeless gatherings.
