2007 Individual Award of Merit
The Award of Merit recognizes outstanding service or achievement, beyond normal expectations or job requirements that benefit IAWP and the workforce development field. Individuals and groups are awarded under this award category.
The 2007 Individual Award of Merit winner recognizes the important part IAWP plays in developing workforce professionals. With this knowledge in mind, while serving as Area Director of the Spartanburg Workforce Center, he encourages all employees to be members and active participants of IAWP. In the workforce arena he realizes the economic challenges the Spartanburg area has been experiencing due to declining industries, and he has been instrumental in bringing new industries to the area. The 2007 Individual Award of Merit celebrates the professional excellence of Ben Davis, South Carolina Employment Security Commission.
