Legislative Expert to Provide Insight on Emerging Workforce Issues at IAWP Conference

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act has changed the workforce landscape. Consultant Leander J Foley, III, will outline these changes and how they impact workforce entities within federal agencies at the International Association Workforce Professionals 103rd Annual Educational Conference on June 26-29th in Buffalo, New York.

For more than 30 years, Lee Foley has worked as one of Washington’s foremost counselors on policy and legislative advocacy. Lee advises clients and represents various interests before the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch on a variety of issues. Prior to his lobbying career, Lee served in a variety of positions in Washington including as a White House domestic policy advisor and as a chief of staff at a cabinet level federal agency. He also served on the staff of the U.S. Senate’s Labor and Public Welfare Committee (now called the HELP Committee) and the Senate Finance Committee.
